Skyrim script extender mod#
How is the workshop connected to this? the steam version of the script extender is not available at the workshop.Players of the newly released "Skyrim" anniversary edition (AE) have been experiencing a variety of mod issues with the current patch release.įortunately, there are two ways to fix the "Skyrim" mod issues while waiting for a new patch.
Skyrim script extender how to#
The way it handles files and mods and installs just isn't going to be as good as you taking 5 minutes to find out how to download and install it yourself. Nope, it has to do with the fact that the workshop simply is not a good mod making tool. It also has the advantage that you just have to do 1 click to install the script extender.
Skyrim script extender update#
The steam version is just more easy to intall and update because it automatically updates the script extender as soon as a update is available without the need of the user to do anything. I dont know if the "silverrock" version also does this but at the end this is not important for the old skyrim. There should be no difference, its both the same i have not used the version of thair official webpage for a very long time because i started to use the steam version so i dont know how it looks if you start the game with the "silverrock" version but IF I REMEMBER right (i have not installed "Oldrim" for quite a while) the steam version starts the games launcher first. Thanks, just curious though, what is the difference between "silverlock" and "steam" SKSE?
If you install it via steam it is shown as a seperate game in your libriary.
